Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork. Will Redmond Chiefs Jersey .com) - Brian Hoyer threw two interceptions for the first time this season, but his two second-half touchdown passes helped the Cleveland Browns edge the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 22-17. Hoyer passed for a season-high 300 yards on 21-of-34 efficiency for Cleveland (5-3), which entered November above .500 for the first time since 2007. Terrance West and Taylor Gabriel each had a touchdown grab. Hoyer, who beat out first-round draft pick Johnny Manziel for the starting quarterback position during training camp, improved to 8-3 as a starter with Cleveland. Mike Glennon went 17-for-33 for 260 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions for the Bucs (1-7), who have lost four straight games. Three of those losses came by six points or less. Mike Evans racked up seven catches for 124 yards and two touchdowns and Bobby Rainey gained 121 yards from scrimmage in defeat. Trailing 17-16, Clevelands special teams came up with a huge play early in the fourth quarter. Craig Robertson flew in to get a fingertip on Michael Koenens punt. KWaun Williams pounced on the short kick at the 35, setting Hoyer and the offense up with terrific field position. They took advantage. Two plays into the drive, Gabriel put a double move on Alterraun Verner and Hoyer hit him in stride for a 34-yard touchdown. The two-point conversion failed, and the lead was five. After punts both ways, Glennon got the ball back with 2:37 to play and 77 yards to go. The drive started well, with Evans making consecutive catches for 31 and nine yards. After the two-minute warning, Glennon misfired twice to set up 4th-and-1. Evans then caught a pass for nine yards and a first down, but was flagged for offensive pass interference. Glennon then dropped back on 4th-and-11 and looked for rookie tight end Austin Sefarian-Jenkins, but the ball was thrown too far out in front and fell incomplete. The Browns were able to run out the remaining 1:39. Earlier, Hoyer connected with Andrew Hawkins for 20 yards early in Clevelands first drive, then fired a strike to Travis Benjamin for 31 yards on 3rd- and-17. The drive stalled at the 31, and Billy Cundiff opened the scoring with a 49-yard field goal. Raineys 34-yard reception on a dump off led to Patrick Murrays second field goal try. After his first kick was blocked on the games first possession, Murray got off a 55-yarder that was on line, but missed short by less than a yard. Late in the first, Glennon looked deep to Evans, but Joe Haden deflected the pass and Donte Whitner picked it off. Whitner saw plenty of green in front of him and picked up blocking downfield, returning the interception 54 yards to the Tampa Bay 21. Hoyer threw across his body on the first play of Clevelands drive to a wide open Ben Tate, who caught it while falling out-of-bounds at the five. Tate was then stood up twice on goal-line runs and Hoyer was sacked on third down, as the Browns had to settle for another Cundiff field goal. Rainey keyed an 8-play, 80-yard drive afterward, as the Bucs finally entered the scoring column. He gained 44 yards on five carries, and Glennon found Evans for a 24-yard touchdown to put the Buccaneers in front. Murray hit from 40 yards away late in the half to extend the lead, and Cundiff beat the halftime buzzer with a 43-yard kick, as the Browns went to the break down 10-9. Cleveland burned nearly six minutes off the clock on the first series out of halftime, with West hauling in a 2-yard touchdown pass from Hoyer to cap the 11-play trek. Evans second touchdown catch restored Tampas lead. After Spencer Lanning punted out of his own end zone to give the Bucs possession at the Cleveland 45, Glennon found Vincent Jackson for 15 yards to move the sticks. Two plays later, Evans found the end zone for another 24-yard score and a 17-16 edge. Game Notes The Browns only needed eight games to pass their win total from last season ... Hoyer is 6-1 as a starter at home ... Earlier this week, Tampa Bay signed DT Gerald McCoy to a seven-year, $98 million contract and traded safety Mark Barron to the Rams for a two 2015 draft picks (4th and 6th) ... The Bucs were 0-for-2 in the red zone. Demarcus Robinson Jersey . Braden Calverts Winnipeg rink rallied to defeat Italy 8-7. After giving up three points in the second end, Calvert came back with a single, then stole two more points in the next two ends to tie it up at the fifth-end break. Derrick Nnadi Chiefs Jersey . Trailing 4-1 in the final set, Sharapova steadied her erratic service game and took command again to beat the 56th-ranked American 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 on clay at the Magic Box tennis centre. The ninth-ranked Russian looked to be cruising before McHale broke late in the second set to tie the match and then took her commanding lead in the final set after breaking Sharapova.TORONTO -- With teammate Kyle Lowry ailing, DeMar DeRozan put the Toronto Raptors on his shoulders Wednesday night. DeRozan had a career-high 40 points to rally the Raptors to a 93-85 home win over the Dallas Mavericks, their first victory in three games. And with fellow guard Lowry struggling with the stomach flu -- he went 0-for-10 from the field, including 0-for-6 from beyond the arc -- it was DeRozan who led Toronto to its third straight decision over the Mavs. "Once I saw Kyle with his head hanging down and holding his stomach, I knew he wasnt feeling too well," DeRozan said. "This loss wouldve hurt and we didnt want to lose three in a row. "I just told myself to try do as much as I can to win, try to pull this one off and keep my team in it." DeRozan finished 15-of-22 from the field, nine-of-14 from the free-throw line and hit the only three-pointer he tried. He put an exclamation point on his outstanding performance by recording the steal and going the length of the court to score and give Toronto (21-20) a 92-85 lead with 1:48 remaining. "He got into the flow of the game," Raptors coach Dwane Casey said. "In the first quarter we werent getting those flow shots. "After that we started getting into our offence, we ran the pick and rolls. They started blitzing them and he (DeRozan) did a good job finding others and the ball found him. It was growth on his part from being double-teamed and being patient enough to get the ball back and be able to score." Although Lowry only managed three points -- off free throws -- Casey praised his guards contributions in other areas of the game. "Kyle didnt stop playing," Casey said. "He dove on the floor, go his hands in there defensively on loose balls. "He affected the game without scoring. You dont expect him to go 0-for-10 but he affected the game." Grievis Vazquez scored 17 points and Jonas Valanciunas added 12 for Toronto, which rebounded from a horrid start as Dallas stormed out to a 34-15 first-quarter lead. "After the first quarter I thought it was going to be a blowout," Casey said. "But in the second half we got the game back under control and got defence in the game. "You get in a free-flowing game with a great offensive team like that and youre in trouble. Our starts are concerning . . . but for us to score only 15 points is alarming." Monta Ellis had 21 points for Dallas (25-19) while former Raptors Jose Calderon and Vince Carter had 13 and eight points, respectively. Brandan Wright also had 13 points as all-star forward Dirk Nowitzki (rest) was inactive despite scoring 17 points in a 102-97 road win over Cleveland on Monday night. Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle said DeRozan was tough to pin down. "He was doing a little bit of everything," he said. "He was driving and he was making shots. "They got in transition a lot because of turnovers and hes a really good transition player." Dallas committed 21 turnovers, including nine in the fourth quarter, and Toronto took advantage with 25 points off the Mavericks miscues. The Raptors improved to 11-2 when holding an opponent to under 90 points. "Yes, too many turnovers," said Carlisle. "We played two good quarters and they played three good quarters.. Anthony Hitchens Jersey. . "Its a 48-minute game and we have to do it for four quarters and thats the story. Carter spent his first six-plus NBA seasons with the Raptors, winning the 98-99 top rookie award and slam dunk contest (2000) while with the club. But the player dubbed Air Canada for his high-flying performances while in Toronto was routinely booed every time he touched the ball on Wednesday but had a thunderous first-half dunk over DeRozan. "It surprised me, I wasnt expecting it," Carter said. "I said sorry, I didnt know it was still possible." Added DeRozan: "He said he didnt know it was me, if he knew it was me he wouldve tried a layup but he got me. I was kind of upset with that a little bit but he got me." Calderon received a solid ovation in the pre-game introductions. He spent eight years with the Raptors before being dealt to Detroit last January and ultimately signing as a free agent in the summer with Dallas. "We couldnt match their intensity," Calderon said. "Then they made their run and we couldnt keep up with that." DeRozans layup and free throw put Toronto ahead 85-82 with 3:38 left before Amir Johnsons three-pointer with 2:59 remaining gave the Raptors an 88-84 advantage. Valanciunass field goal with just under five minutes left put Toronto ahead 82-81, their first lead of the contest since early in the first. DeRozans 15-point outburst in the third pulled Toronto to within 73-68 of the Mavericks heading into the third. Vazquezs three-pointer with under a minute remaining cut Dallass lead to 71-68 but Elliss field goal rounded out the scoring and gave the visitors their five-point advantage. Vazquezs 11 points helped Toronto outscore Dallas 31-17 in the second to cut the Mavericks half-time advantage to 51-46. After failing to register a three-pointer in the first, the Raptors were 4 of 6 from the arc in the second to turn a game Dallas led by 21 points at one time into a much closer affair. DeRozan led the way for the home side with 16 points while Calderon and Carter had 12 and eight points, respectively, for the Mavs. Calderon and Carter helped stake Dallas to its 19-point lead after the first, scoring 10 and five points, respectively. Calderon anchored a 13-0 run with eight points that put the Mavericks ahead 21-8 before Derozan -- who had 12 of Torontos points -- scored the Raptors first basket in nearly five minutes. Carter added insult to injury with the dunk over DeRozan and subsequent free throw that put Dallas ahead 24-10. The Mavericks shot 14 of 24 (58.3 per cent) from the field and 3 of 5 from the arc while Toronto was 0-for-5 from three-point range and 5 of 19 (26.3 per cent) overall. NOTES -- Carter, who averaged 23.4 points per game in his 403 career appearances with Toronto, turns 37 on Sunday . . . Calderon remains Torontos all-time leader in assists (3,770) and free-throw percentage (.887) . . . Raptors head coach Dwane Casey spent three seasons as an assistant with Dallas under Carlisle, helping the squad capture the 2011 NBA title. Casey improved to 3-2 as a head coach versus his former team . . . Also on Dallass roster is veteran centre Samuel Dalembert, a native of Haiti who grew up in Montreal and is in his 11th NBA season . . . Toronto entered action having made 105 three-pointers this month, third-most in the NBA. China Jerseys Wholesale Cheap Jerseys Throwback China NFL Hoodies NFL Jerseys Cheap Cheap NFL Autographed Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Jerseys From China ' ' '

It may be just what the struggling San Diego Padres need. Will Venable hit a two-run single in the 12th inning to give the Padres a 6-5 win over the Kansas City Royals on Monday night, their second consecutive victory in their final at-bat. San Diego used Yonder Alonsos slow grounder to score Cameron Maybin with the game-winning run Sunday in the ninth inning of a 4-3 win over Arizona. "Coming on the heels of (Sundays) win, its great," Padres manager Bud Black said. "We are seeing subtle signs. These are the kind of games that can lift guys." Venable singled off Tim Collins (0-2) and over the head of right fielder Lorenzo Cain, driving in Chris Denorfia and Alonso. Denorfia led off the inning with a single off Louis Coleman before Collins came on. After a sacrifice, Alonso reached on a bloop double to left to bring up Venable. For the offensively challenged Padres, the two games may be signs that the team is ready to break out of its season-long funk. San Diego is ranked near or at the bottom in the majors in just about every offensive category. "Bottom line, we just have to get a W," Alonso said. "I dont care how we do it. We have seen it all. This game will do a lot of crazy things on you. (Sunday), we get a game-winner on a bunt swing. (Monday), Will hit a mammoth single. This game will do a lot of things to you. You just have to keep your head up." The Padres rallied back with a pair of homers to tie the game twice and force extra innings. Jedd Gyorko, who is hitting.164, hit a solo homer with one out in the ninth inning off Royals closer Greg Holland to tie the game at 4. It was Hollands first blown save in eight chances. Yasmani Grandal hit a three-run shot off Royals rookie Yordano Ventura in the sixth to tie the score 3-all. "We are a team that doesnt give up, even if we are down by three runs," Alonso said. "We just keep chipping awaay, chipping away and the next thing you know were winning the ball game. Solomon Hill Jersey. ." Eric Hosmer homered and drove in three runs for Kansas City, which extended its season-high losing streak to five games despite a season-high 16 hits. Cain, who came off the disabled list before the game, had four hits. The Royals grabbed a brief lead in the 12th inning when Mike Moustakas hit an RBI single to score Salvador Perez off Tim Stauffer (1-0). "Any time you lose, its painful, it hurts, especially when you are struggling a bit," Royals manager Ned Yost said. Hosmer hit his first homer of the season, a solo shot off Nick Vincent, to put Kansas City ahead 4-3 in the seventh. "We had plenty of opportunities to put it away," Hosmer said. "Thats just the way things are going right now. This is definitely one of the tougher losses of the season." Ventura had allowed just two hits in five shutout innings before giving up Grandals homer. The right-hander allowed five hits, did not walk a batter and struck out a career-high 10 in six innings. Ventura extended his scoreless innings streak to 18 scoreless innings before Grandals homer. Ventura collected his first major league hit with a sharp single leading off the fifth. Nori Aoki followed with a single and both runners moved up on a fly out. Hosmer grounded a two-run single up the middle for a 3-0 lead. Padres starter Eric Stults had his second tough outing as he lasted just 4 2-3 innings, allowing three runs and 11 hits. The left-hander tied a season high by allowing five runs over 2 2-3 innings -- his shortest start since April 2009 -- in his last start. NOTES: Maybin left the game during the top of the seventh inning with a stomach ailment. ... SAO PAULO - Landon Donovan says the United States will head to the World Cup with its most experienced group of players, giving the Americans a "real chance" to do well at this years tournament. Dave Hollins Phillies Jersey . As the U.S. finishes a week-and-a-half training camp in the host country, Donovan said American players have enough confidence and experience to confront more traditional World Cup teams heading into a first round that includes matches against Germany, Portugal and Ghana. "I think the experience that we have now far exceeds the experience that we ever had with any team, and that lines up to give us a real chance," Donovan said Thursday. "We are confident in how we play. We are confident in what we do. Our guys have had enough experiences against all of these players, against teams like Ghana, Portugal, Germany. ... We feel confident that we can get results against them, and thats a nice feeling going into a World Cup." The U.S. opens against Ghana on June 16, plays Cristiano Ronaldos Portugal six days later and closes the group stage against Germany on June 26. The Americans will be playing in their seventh straight World Cup, and Donovan is heading to his fourth. "Theres never been competition for places like there is in our team now," the midfielder said during a news conference. "You can really make a case for probably 35 or 40 guys to be a part of a 23-man roster, and thats never been the case. Its really up for grabs in a lot of positions, and that in itself obviously creates competition, which makes the team better." Donovan, who turns 32 in March, said the U.S. team is more respected by opponents. "The reason its the group of death is because we are in it," he said. "In the past, it would have been a relatively easier group for Germany or Ghana or Portugal because they had us in it. But now, because we are in it, it makes it one of the most difficult groups in the tournament." Donovan said the first goal remains to reach the knockout stage of the 32-nation tournament. "Our expectations, like most teams, are to get out of the group," he said. "We are aware that we have a difficult group, but the expectation is that we can do it and we are going to try to get out of our group, just like most teams in this World Cup. That is the objective. That is the goal. But we feel good about where we are at." German coach Jurgen Klinsmann brought 26 players to this training camp get acclimated to the teams World Cup base in South Americas biggest city. The team, mostly with players from Major League Soccer, will play an exhibition against South Korea on Feb. 1 at Carson, Calif. "Weve been very lucky to have two weeks here in Sao Paulo," Donovan said. "Its been very nice to have a couple of weeks to adapt to what its going to be like this summer. When we come back we have a comfort level. We know the people, the club, the training facilities. It makes it a lot easier. You get a feeling for what its like here, and it helps a lot." Klinsmann is expected to visit the Arena da Amazonia on Friday in the jungle city of Manaus, where the U.S. will play Portugal. Chuck Klein Jersey .  "For the past several weeks, Logan has been dealing and playing with an upper body injury," said general manager Doug Wilson in a statement. "Despite his efforts to play through it, the injury has not responded as we had hoped and Logan has made the decision to undergo a surgical procedure to repair the problem. Tug McGraw Phillies Jersey . The Canadian Football Leagues all-time passing leader said he has not made a final decision, but he will discuss his future with Montreal Alouettes owner Bob Wetenhall on the weekend.INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianas Roy Hibbert had the perfect knockout combination Friday night. On offence, he made all but two shots. On defence, he protected the rim. At the free-throw line, he couldnt miss and no matter what the Bucks tried to stop the former All-Star centre, nothing worked. Hibbert finished with season-highs of 24 points and eight blocks and added 10 rebounds to lead unbeaten Indiana past Milwaukee 104-77 -- the Pacers most lopsided rout in a 9-0 start. "We have expectations and we want to win," Hibbert said. "We want to play deep, deep into the playoffs. You gain confidence with your teammates when were all on the same page and we all have one goal. Some guys on this team before were just trying to get a paycheque and go home and then chilling on the beach and sip mojitos or something like that. Thats not us. " Hibbert was referring to the teams he played on when he first arrived in Indy. Theres no doubt that philosophy has changed. On Friday, the Pacers followed the same blue-collar script theyve used to win their first nine. Milwaukee had a season-low point total, finished well below its season average of 93.7 points, and shot just 34.1 per cent against the leagues No. 1 defence. Its the fourth time Indiana has held an opponent to 80 or fewer points this season and its the second time this week. Now, after becoming the first team in the league to start 9-0 since Dallas in 2002-03, Indiana has a chance to reach even more milestones. The defending Central Division champs head to Chicago on Saturday with a chance to become the 14th team in league history to go 10-0 and they can break the longest winning streak in the franchises NBA history. Indiana also won nine straight from Nov. 2-22 in 2002. Another win also would put them on the precipice of the longest winning streak in Pacers history (11), which stretches all the way back to 1972-73, when they were still in the ABA. About the only bad move coach Frank Vogel made Friday was pulling Hibbert early rather than allowing him to try and become the second Pacers player this week to post a triple-double. Hibbert, true to form, didnt care. Hed rather beat Chicago anyway for the second time in 10 days and at least lock up a tie in the season series against their fiercest division rival. "You know what? I look at the bigger picture. We have Chicago tomorrow, might as well just get a little bit a rest," Hibbert said. "A triple-double would have been great, but oone of these times, everythings going to line-up, the stars, moon, sun, everythings going to line up and Ill have one of those. Dave Cash Jersey. ." So Hibbert focused on his job. While Indianas top scorer Paul George struggled to get open in the first half, Hibbert scorched the Bucks for 14 points, seven rebounds and five blocks in just 15 minutes. After making halftime adjustments, the Bucks still couldnt stop the 7-foot-2 centre, whom Vogel called the early front-runner for defensive player of the year. And this time, Hibbert was just as proficient on the offensive end. He knocked down 8 of 10 shots from the field, made all eight of his free throws and dominated the matchup with feisty Zaza Pachulia, who played with a sore right foot. "We threw what we had at him, but it didnt seem to affect him at all," Bucks coach Larry Drew said. "You try to take something away and you give something else up. They played well. That teams playing really well." George finished with 22 points, 17 in the second half. Lance Stephenson, who had his first triple double Monday night, had 11 points and four rebounds during a game in which the Pacers fell behind twice in the first quarter, for just 64 seconds. Injury-riddled Milwaukee (2-6) has now dropped four straight. O.J. Mayo led the Bucks with 20 points, and his only teammates to reach double figures were Khris Middleton and Gary Neal, who each had 11. They just didnt have a chance against the leagues hottest team. Coming off of a three-day break, Indiana started sluggishly, then used an 11-2 run to put Milwaukee in a 21-14 hole. The Pacers never looked back. Indiana closed the first quarter on an 8-3 spurt to make it 31-21, extended the lead to 53-37 at the half and then pulled away in the third quarter when George accounted for six points in a 7-2 spurt and George and Hibbert accounted for all seven points in a 7-0 spurt to make it 68-53. Milwaukee never got closer than 11 again. "Every game could be the difference between home-court advantage and not having home-court advantage," Vogel said. "It doesnt matter. Were on a mission and were trying to put ourselves in best possible position come playoff time. " NOTES: Indiana has already beaten all four of its Central Division foes. ... Milwaukee played without Caron Butler, Carlos Delfino, Ersan Ilyasova and Larry Sanders. ... The Bucks have lost five straight in Indy. China Jerseys Wholesale Cheap Jerseys Throwback China NFL Hoodies NFL Jerseys Cheap Cheap NFL Autographed Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Jerseys From China ' ' '

ZURICH, Switzerland -- A German anti-doping laboratory using a new steroid test has found 266 positive cases in the past year and is finding other positives in retesting of old samples. Michael Lorenzen Jersey . Cologne lab scientist Hans Geyer revealed detailed figures Friday at an anti-doping conference hosted by FIFA. The lab found 184 cases involving stanozolol, the banned drug used by sprinter Ben Johnson at the 1988 Olympics, and 82 of oral turinabol, a steroid widely used in the former East Germany. Geyer said many of the positives since November 2012 involved athletics, weightlifting and wrestling, and all were reported to the World Anti-Doping Agency and sports governing bodies. "It was surprising for us, we didnt expect that many," Geyer told reporters on the sidelines of the conference. "Most of them were from the first half of this year." German broadcaster ARD reported this month on the testing at the Cologne and Moscow labs, and the IOC confirmed it was using the improved method to retest samples from the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics. Cologne scientists have used a Russian-developed test which detects steroids in smaller quantities for around six months after athletes took them. Previously reported cases this year included dozens of track and field athletes in Turkey, while the International Weightlifting Federation identified 29 athletes on its website who were banned this year for using one or both of the two steroids. Geyer said he was surprised that no athletes challenged the lab results, which typically follows the introduction of a new test method. "We expected many objections, many outrages (from athletes) but nothing happened. This is very unusual for a lab," he said. More cases are being revealed in re-tests requested by sports bodies, which the scientist did not identify, and have shown10 per cent positives. However, Geyer said no new cases have been revealed in testing of samples from cyclists, footballers or German athletes. "I think its a success of this strategy to look for long-term metabolites, but the best deterring effect is the long-term storage (of samples)," he said. Geyer suggested that the improved test showed the limitations of previous strategies to catch drug cheats. "Maybe the athletes always knew how long we could detect these substances," he said. "Maybe the out-of-competition (testing) system doesnt work." The IOC has said the new test will be used at the Winter Olympics in Sochi in February. It will also be used in the planned retesting of samples from the 2008 Beijing Olympics before the eight-year statute of limitations expires in 2016. Anthony DeSclafani Jersey .J. -- John Elway says Peyton Manning cannot stamp himself as the greatest quarterback in NFL history even if he wins the Super Bowl on Sunday. Drew Storen Jersey . Tropeano, who grew up a Yankees fan but attended several Mets games at Shea Stadium, has dropped two straight decisions after winning his major league debut on September 10 in Seattle. China Jerseys Wholesale Cheap Jerseys Throwback China NFL Hoodies NFL Jerseys Cheap Cheap NFL Autographed JerseysCheap NFL Jerseys China Jerseys From China ' ' '

Carey will report to the Coyotes AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates. His one-year contract technically is effective the start of next season. Cousins, the Kings leading scorer and rebounder, missed the previous six games with a sprained ankle. Cousins came out aggressive, getting 11 points and seven rebounds in the first quarter when the Kings led 24-12 and never trailed the remainder of the game. Jimmy Butler had 17 points for the frustrated Bulls, who have lost two straight and three of four. Tony Snell and Taj Gibson each had 11 points. Chicago was outscored 28-13 in the fourth quarter. Chicago All-Star centre Joakim Noah had four points and four rebounds before being ejected in the third quarter when he picked up two technical fouls in less than three minutes. The second technical came after Noah was called for a foul against Cousins at the 7:40 mark. Isaiah Thomas had 19 points for the Kings, who stretched the lead to 20 points four minutes into the fourth quarter. Rudy Gay had 14 points and Jimmer Fredette had all of his 11 points in the fourth quarter. Chicago shot 28 per cent and was outrebounded 53-30 in losing back-to-back games for the first time since mid-December. The point total was a season-low for a Kings opponent. Fredette made jumper and Ben&nbssp;McLemore followed with a basket, giving Sacramento an 84-62 lead at the 7:15 mark of the fourth quarter. Francisco Liriano Jersey. Before Monday mornings shootaround, Bulls power forward Carlos Boozer talked with the media regarding his displeasure with coach Tom Thibodeaus tendency not to play him in the fourth quarter, when the minutes typically go to Gibson. Boozer had four points in 21 minutes Saturday in a loss to New Orleans. Against the Kings, Boozer had eight points and nine rebounds in 35 minutes, including seven in the fourth quarter. Cousins was dominant in the low block, scoring 12 points in the third quarter when Sacramento built its lead to 71-57. The physical play continued in the quarter, where three technicals were called and every foul seemed to be followed by complaints. Thomas scored 15 first-half points for the Kings, who led 44-33. The Bulls shot 24 per cent in the opening half and trailed 24-12 after one quarter. The 12 points was the second fewest this season by a Kings opponent. Notes: Quincy Acy made a 3 to end the first quarter, his first 3-pointer in 27 games with the Kings. Acy, who came to the Kings in a trade this season with Toronto, had two 3s with the Raptors. ... Oklahoma City, OK (SportsNetwork. DeShawn Shead Lions Jersey .com) - Russell Westbrooks 29-point outing, his career-best 11th straight game with 25-plus, helped the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 98-75 win over the Charlotte Hornets. Westbrook had to take a bulk of the scoring load once again because his star teammate, Kevin Durant, sat for a fifth consecutive game due to a sprained ankle. Serge Ibaka scored 13 points with a season-high 14 rebounds and Anthony Morrow chipped in 11 points for Oklahoma City, which won for a second straight day after a two-game skid. The Thunder were coming off a 114-106 win over San Antonio on Christmas. We talked about playing every night, playing with a defensive brand every night. Back-to-back games now... I was proud of our defensive effort, Thunder coach Scott Brooks said. Brian Roberts paced the Hornets with 17 points off the bench and Marvin Williams added 11 points in a reserve role. Charlotte had its season-high four-game winning streak snapped and dropped its eighth straight game in the series. Westbrook had a productive first half, scoring 19 points to help his team take a comfortable lead into the locker room at the break. Charlottes Cody Zeller opened the scoring with a jumper, then Westbrook scored six points during a 9-0 burst for the Thunder. Westbrook found Ibaka for a 3-pointer later in the frame to extend the lead to double digits and Oklahoma City entered the second up 33-24. Theyre so good defensively, we just had trouble in the first quarter making shots, Charlotte coach Steve Clifford said. We played a very good team and they played well. The Thunder then scored the first eight points of the second, and Westbrooks jumper with over four minutes to go in the quarter giving Oklahoma City a 53-34 cushion and it led 59-40 at halftime. Oklahoma City was held scoreless for the first 3:51 of the third but Charlotte could not take advantage, scoring just four points over that span. Westbrook scored six straight points during a 17-4 run that started with Ibakas jumper that ended the scoring drought, with the Thunder opening up a 76-49 lead at the end of the spurt. Morrows trey capped the scoring in the quarter and helped the hosts to an 81-56 lead entering the fourth. Game Notes Hornets guard Lance Stephenson missed his fifth straight game with a pelvis injury ... Ibaka had four of his teams 10 blocks ... Oklahoma City shot 41 percent from the floor and held Charlotte to 28.7 percent shooting ... The Thunder had a 44-24 advantage in the paint.LeGarrette Blount Jersey . New York Yankees pitcher Michael Pineda was suspended for 10 games Thursday, a day after umpires found pine tar on his neck during a game against Boston. Pineda said he was trying to get a better grip on balls on a cool night, and pitchers say they suspect pine tar use may be routine -- although usually discreet. Baseball rules prohibit pitchers from using foreign substances. "When the year is over, we ought to look at all this," Selig told the Associated Press Sports Editors on Friday. While Pineda appeared to have pine tar on the palm of his pitching hand during a start against the Red Sox on April 10, Boston never brought it to the attention of umpires that night. The Red Sox did point it out the umps Wednesday. "I think the way that the rulle has been enforced, as with lots of rules in baseball, is that when theres a complaint, we do something about it," MLB chief operating officer Rob Manfred said. Sylvester Williams Jersey. . "And thats what happened here. I dont think that this particular incident is all that different from other incidents that weve had in the past. We will like we do every off-season look at this issue, but remember, pine tar is one of a number of foreign substances, and you have to have a rule that fits for all of them. I dont think theres anything all that different about the Pineda." In other pine tar penalties, Tampa Bays Joel Peralta was penalized eight games in 2012, the Angels Brendan Donnelly 10 days in 2005 and St. Louis Julian Tavarez 10 days in 2004. The suspensions of Donnelly and Tavarez were cut to eight days after they asked the players association to appeal, and Peralta dropped his challenge with no reduction. China Jerseys Wholesale Cheap Jerseys Throwback China NFL Hoodies NFL Jerseys Cheap Cheap NFL Autographed Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Jerseys From China ' ' '

DENVER - Its been four years since the Raptors had a representative in the All-Star Game. A. J. Pollock Diamondbacks Jersey . DeMar DeRozan, a 20-year-old rookie at the time, remembers it well. "I was here when Chris Bosh was the last guy to go," said DeRozan, now 24 in his fifth NBA season, less than two hours after receiving the news. A first-time All-Star, DeRozan got the nod Thursday evening when the NBA named the Raptors guard to the Eastern Conference squad as a reserve. "I work extremely hard every off-season to try and be the best player that I can be," he said proudly. "Just to be a part of All-Star Weekend is something you dream of. I remember being a kid watching All-Star Weekend and wishing to be a part of it. To see your dreams come true definitely means a lot." DeRozan, the fourth ever Raptor selected to the midseason showcase, which will take place in New Orleans on Feb. 16, was hardly surprised to find out his selection had been made official. He had expected it. The texts from family and friends started to come in as the Raptors plane landed in Denver, shortly after the announcement had been made live on TNT. Houston Rockets All-Star guard James Harden called to congratulate him, John Wall of the Washington Wizards, also an Eastern reserve, sent a text. The first call he made was to his fiancé and his infant daughter back in Toronto. "That was cool," he said of what had to be a special moment. Its a moment, an achievement that didnt come overnight. Hes put in the work and his growth as a player, a leader and as a man reflects that. "Hes worked at it [and] he deserves it," said Dwane Casey, who has coached DeRozan in three of his five seasons. "Every year Ive been here he has improved. He has brought something new back after every summer. Im so happy and proud of him as a young man watching him grow." DeRozan, the ninth overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft, is 11th in the league in scoring, fourth in the East, and averaging career highs in points (21.8), rebounds (4.7) and assists (3.6). The Raptors iron man has missed the clubs previous two games with an ankle injury, but hes still only missed 10 contests in his career, with two full seasons under his belt. Since the trade of Rudy Gay, DeRozan has blossomed in his new role. DeRozan has recorded five or more assists in 12 of the 43 contests hes appeared in this season. He accomplished that feat 12 times all of last year and five times total in his first three seasons combined. He has already grabbed five or more rebounds 23 times this season, something he did in 19 games during the 2012-13 campaign. "Im so happy for him, man," said snubbed teammate Kyle Lowry. "It just shows the hard work that hes put in. Its great for our team, its great for the organization, its great for the city, its great for the country." Of course, the news wasnt entirely positive. Lowry, in the middle of a career season, was left off the All-Star roster. The 27-year-old point guard - widely considered to be the most notable name missing from the East team - stood in the lobby of the Raptors Denver hotel, looking ahead to his mid-Febrary vacation. He too was not surprised by the result of the voting and if he was disappointed by it, he didnt show it. "Im alright," said Lowry, averaging career-highs in points (16.8), assists (7.6) and three-point shooting (41 per cent) this season. "Ill be on a beach somewhere hanging out. Ill watch the All-Star game and cheer for (DeRozan)." Lowry is coming off of back-to-back 30-plus point games for the first time in his eight-year career, however both performances came after the coaches submitted their ballots for All-Star reserves on Sunday. Casey has spent the better part of the last month campaigning for both of his guards, hoping to get both voted in, but expecting to only get the one. Why was Lowry left out? Politics, most likely. He and DeRozan may have split votes from coaches who were only willing to vote for one Raptor. Coaches trying to get their own guy in - unable to vote for their own players, by rule - may have thrown their votes to others, less likely to make it. Then theres Lowrys reputation for being, well, prickly on occasion. However, the numbers speak for themselves, or at least they should have. Lowry leads the East in assists in January, averaging 8.3. Hes also hit more threes this month (49) than any player in the league, shooting them at a 46 per cent clip. Hes among the league-best in assist-to-turnover ratio and he has the second highest PER (player efficiency rating) of any guard in the conference. "I am disappointed for Kyle because he is playing like an All-Star," Casey said. "He is one of the best point guards in the league right now and hopefully this doesnt deter him from his continuing his journey to being the best in the league and proving people wrong." Instead, the Nets Joe Johnson made the cut. Johnson is averaging 15.7 points, his lowest mark since 2002-03, his second season in the league. Hes only the second All-Star voted in by the coaches with a below-average PER since 2003. "Im going to keep grinding no matter what, All-Star or not," Lowry said. "Im always going to work hard and continue to be the best player I can be to help my team win." "Honestly I didnt even worry about it," he continued. "We didnt get two, doesnt matter, we got one and thats a big statement for our team. [DeRozans] going to represent our team and hes going to represent us well." DeRozan joins Johnson, Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat, Wall, the Indiana Pacers Roy Hibbert, Joakim Noah of the Chicago Bulls and the Atlanta Hawks Paul Millsap on the East squad, along with starters LeBron James and Dwyane Wade of the Heat, Indianas Paul George, Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers Kyrie Irving. Chris Owings Jersey . Toronto has lost five of its last six games on the heels of a season-high six- game winning streak from earlier this month. The recent rough patch includes a 1-3-0 record on a seven-game road trip that continues tonight at TD Garden. Wednesdays clash marks the third of four regular-season meetings between these Atlantic Division rivals. The last time the Bruins and Maple Leafs met was on Nov. 12 when Toronto recorded a 6-1 blowout victory at Air Canada Centre behind a two-goal performance from ex-Boston winger Phil Kessel. That lopsided win marked Torontos third victory in the past four meetings with the Bruins, but that success hasnt translated to the road. The Leafs did earn a win their last time in Beantown, notching a 4-3 decision on Jan. 14 of last season, halting a six-game slide at TD Garden. Boston is 12-2-1 in its last 15 home meetings against the Leafs and owns a 12-6-2 record at TD Garden this season. The Bruins picked up their third straight victory as the host on Monday, downing the Detroit Red Wings 5-2 in the opener of a three-game homestand. Carl Soderberg posted a goal and an assist to help Boston rebound from Saturdays 6-2 loss in Columbus, and Tuukka Rask made 28 saves for the win. Reilly Smith, Gregory Campbell, Seth Griffith and Chris Kelly also scored for the Bruins, who beat the Red Wings without the services of injured forwards Patrice Bergeron and Milan Lucic. Thats what I wanted to see from our team, Bruins head coach Claude Julien said. Its the kind of game that we need. Both Bergeron andd Lucic were back at practice Tuesday, but Julien said there is no guarantee the duo will return tonight. Shelby Miller Jersey. Theyre still day-to-day, Julien told his teams web site after Tuesdays practice. I havent been told that they are cleared to play yet. Rask is expected to get the start in net. He boasts a 10-3-0 record, 1.85 goals against average and .937 save percentage in his career against Toronto. Toronto also played on Monday and lost its second straight game with a 3-2 setback in Tampa. The Maple Leafs grabbed an early 2-0 lead before the Lightning tallied three unanswered scores to win in regulation. The setback dropped Toronto to 6-6-3 as the road club. Mike Santorelli opened the scoring just 4:28 into the first period and Joffrey Lupul gave the Leafs a two-goal edge at the 7:47 mark. Tampa. however, evened the score with a two-goal second period before Steven Stamkos delivered the game-winner with 8:55 remaining in the third. The Lightning outshot Toronto by a 41-23 margin and that included a 15-4 edge in the opening period when the Leafs grabbed the lead. If youre continually receiving the game, thats going to happen over the course of the night when youre continually not getting the puck in the oppositions zone, said Toronto coach Randy Carlyle. James Reimer made 38 saves in his second straight start in place of No. 1 netminder Jonathan Bernier, who has been battling an illness. With Christopher Gibson being sent down to the AHLs Toronto Marlies on Tuesday, Bernier is expected to at least be able to suit up as the backup tonight. Reimer is 5-5-1 with a 2.64 GAA in his career against Boston. Bernier has a lifetime 2-3-0 record with a 3.86 GAA in this matchup. China Jerseys Wholesale Cheap Jerseys Throwback China NFL Hoodies NFL Jerseys Cheap Cheap NFL Autographed Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Jerseys From China ' ' '

The team won 51 games to handily take the first ever Metropolitan Division title. Crosby played 80 games for the first time since his Rocket Richard Trophy-winning 2010 season, marking a much-needed return to health after years of battling concussions. Crosby not only returned, but returned to form. The Kid won the scoring race by 17 points, claiming MVP honours from both the writers (winning his second career Hart Memorial Trophy) and the players (winning a second straight Ted Lindsay Award and the third Lindsay/Pearson of his career). Canada also learned Chris Kunitza€?s name as the 34-year-old was selected to Canadaa€?s Olympic team. Questioned by some as a choice of convenience for Sochi, Kunitz still won gold with Canada and dressed in all six tournament games. He finished the season with a new career-high in goals (35, nine higher than his previous best) and points (68). The Pens were pushed in the first round by the upstart Columbus Blue Jackets. Not given much chance by most analysts, the Blue Jackets fought their way to two overtime victories before bowing to the Pens in a thrilling six games. After dropping their second-round opener to the New York Rangers, the Pens looked to have a second straight Conference Final trip booked, winning their next three games by a combined 9-2 score. Marc-Andre Fleury was all world over those three games, posting a 145-minute shutout streak, partly exorcising the demons of his playoff struggles in recent years. The series got away from the Penguins, though. Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist played some of the best hockey of his career and held the Penguins to just one goal in each of the remaining games and lifting his team to the Eastern Conference Final and eventually the Cup Final. The Rangers also rallied around personal tragedy suffered by Martin St. Louis to play an inspired final three. Losing out by a combined 10-3 score, the Penguins were sent packing with Crosby failing to register a point in the last three games. With excellent awareness and vision, he is capable of getting the puck to players who can threaten offensively. He combines that with outstanding poise, so he can allow a play to develop. With superstars Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, scoring opportunities will be numerous. Mike Johnston, his junior coach, is now the head coach of the Penguins so knowing the capabilities of Derrick is not a learning process for him. Coming off shoulder surgery will delay his debut but his impact in an important area of the game will be welcomed. Fantasy - Cullens Player to Watch - Beau Bennett Its been a rocky road for the 20th pick in the 2010 Draft, who was limited to 21 games with the Penguins last season as he recovered from wrist surgery, then suffered a leg injury in training camp this year and will miss at least a month at the start of the season. Nevertheless, Bennett has contributed 21 points in 47 career NHL games, showing enough flashes of skill to indicate that he may be able to fill a spot in the Penguins top six and thats where the real upside lies with Bennett -- the opportunity to play alongside Sidney Crosby or Evgeni Malkin will present immediate scoring opportunities. This run of injuries is more adversity for Bennett to overcome, but there is enough upside in the 22-year-old winger to make a patient approach worthwhile. China Jerseys WholesaleCheap Jerseys Throwback China NFL Hoodies NFL Jerseys Cheap Cheap NFL Autographed Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Jerseys From China ' ' '

Granada broke a run of five consecutive losses away from home to stay in the middle of the standings. Getafe remained in 16th place and inched two points clear of the relegation zone before the rest of teams play in round 28. The 17 candidates returning to the BBWAA ballot (with their 2014 election percentages) are: Craig Biggio (74.8%), Mike Piazza (62.2%), Jeff Bagwell (54.3%), Tim Raines (46.1%), Roger Clemens (35.4%), Barry Bonds (34.7%), Lee Smith (29.9%), Curt Schilling (29.2%), Edgar Martinez (25.2%), Alan Trammell (20.8%), Mike Mussina (20.3%), Jeff Kent (15.2%), Fred McGriff (11.7%), Mark McGwire (11.0%), Larry Walker (10.2%), Don Mattingly (8.2%) and Sammy Sosa (7.2%). Mattingly is eligible for the ballot for the 15th and final time. If he is not elected in January, he will become eligible for consideration by the Expansion Era Committee beginning in the fall of 2016. Candidates need 75 percent of the vote to earn induction into the Hall of Fame. Results will be announced on Jan. 6, 2015. When including the returners to the ballot, its interesting to note that only once in the history of voting have as many as five candidates earned the 75 percent in the same voting year. That was in 1936, the first year of voting, when Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, Babe Ruth and Honus Wagner became the First Five. Since then, the BBWAA has elected four candidates in one year only twice: 1947, when Mickey Cochrane, Frankie Frisch, Lefty Grove and Carl Hubbell were elected; and 1955, when Joe DiMaggio, Gabby Hartnett, Ted Lyons and Dazzy Vance earned election. The three candidates who at first glance deserve first-ballot Hall of Fame consideration are Johnson, Martinez and Smoltz. Johnson pitched 22 seasons for Expos, Mariners, Astros, Diamondbacks, Yankees and Giants, posting three 20-win seasons (1997, 2001-02) and winning five Cy Young Awards. The hard-throwing left-hander ended his career with a 303-166 markk with a 3. Paul Pierce Jersey. 29 ERA, finishing in top 10 of his leagues Most Valuable Player Award voting twice: 1995 (6th) and 2002 (7th) and was named to 10 All-Star Games, starting four times. Known as a strikeout pitcher, Johnson led his league in strikeouts nine times (1992-95, 1999-2002, 2004) and is second on the all-time strikeout list with 4,875. Martinez played 18 seasons for Dodgers, Expos, Red Sox, Mets and Phillies, going 219-100 with a 2.93 ERA. He had two 20-win seasons (1999, 2002) and captured three Cy Young Awards (1997, 1999-2000). An eight-time All-Star, the right-hander finished in Top 10 of his leagues Most Valuable Player Award voting twice: 1999 (2nd) and 2000 (5th). He won 1999 American League Pitching Triple Crown after leading the league in wins (23), earned run average (2.07) and strikeouts (313). Smoltz, who could be the first Hall of Fame member to have the famed Tommy John surgery, made a name for himself as a starter and closer, pitching 21 seasons for Braves, Red Sox and Cardinals. Smoltz had a career record of 213-155 with a 3.33 ERA with 154 saves. He won 1996 National League Cy Young Award and was named to eight All-Star Games (1989, 1992-93, 1996, 2002-03, 2005, 2007). As a reliever, the right-hander topped the 40-save mark three times (2002-04), the only three full seasons he served as his teams closer. His 3,084 strikeouts rank 16th all-time. Smoltz appeared in 25 postseason series over 14 seasons with Braves and Cardinals, posting 15-4 record in 41 appearances (27 starts) with 2.67 earned run average and four saves, striking out 199 batters in 209 innings. If the BBWAA elects at least two candidates in January, it will mark the first time since 2004-05 that the writers have elected multiple candidates in back- to-back years. Dennis Eckersley and Paul Molitor were elected in 2004, followed by Wade Boggs and Ryne Sandberg in 2005. The last time three-or-more BBWAA candidates were elected in successive years was 1954-55, when the DiMaggio-Hartnett-Lyons-Vance group followed the 1954 class of Bill Dickey, Rabbit Maranville and Bill Terry. The Class of 2015, and any candidates elected by the Golden Era Committee on Dec. 8, will be inducted on July 26 in Cooperstown. China Jerseys Wholesale Cheap Jerseys Throwback China NFL Hoodies NFL Jerseys Cheap Cheap NFL Autographed Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Jerseys From China ' ' '
